Corsica, Pa. — October 13 — The Corsica Volunteer Fire Company participated in Fire Prevention Day events in Roseville by visiting a nearby community center with an engine and crew to interact with kids, families, and employees. Firefighters talked about house fire prevention, showed out basic firefighting equipment, and let guests take a close look at the truck.

The outreach program was a part of Fire Prevention Week, which this year concentrated on teaching families how to keep functional smoke alarms and prepare two ways out of each room. Additionally, firefighters emphasised the significance of promptly reporting fires and maintaining unobstructed access points for emergency vehicles.
