CREEKSIDE, Pa. — October 14 — On Sunday afternoon, workers from Creekside Volunteer Fire Company quickly put out a sizable shed fire in Ernest Borough. With a crew of four, Engine 262 was the first on the scene and had water on the fire in less than ninety seconds.
While Engine 102, Engine 108, and Squad 267 helped with personnel and overhaul operations, Tanker 265 supplied water for suppression. The fire was contained and additional damage was avoided thanks to the responding firms' concerted efforts.
