BLACK LICK, Pa. — November 2 —The Coral-Graceton Volunteer Fire Department received assistance from the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company for a funeral detail honouring a community member. Together with Coral's units, Truck 146 and Ladder 101 displayed a giant American flag between their aerials, a sign of honour frequently seen at public service events and firefighter memorials.

The participation of departments from all throughout Indiana County demonstrated the collaboration and solidarity among the local fire departments. The well-planned exhibit was a respectful homage and a reminder of the ties that bind emergency service members even when they are not on active duty.
