Dover Township, Pa. — October 24 — On Friday night, the York County Fire School hosted the Dover Township Fire Department's yearly live-fire burn. Coordination, communication, and tactical effectiveness under realistic fire conditions were the main topics of the training, which concentrated on the duties and operations of the first-arriving engine company and first-arriving special service units.

These annual live-fire evolutions are a key component of the department’s ongoing readiness efforts, providing members with valuable, hands-on experience in controlled but challenging scenarios.

The department extended its appreciation to the Fairview Township Fire Department for providing station coverage during the training.
