TSFRS Welcomes 150 Visitors at Annual Open House

Spring Township, Pa. — October 25 —The Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services (TSFRS) held its Annual Open House at the West Wyomissing fire station on Saturday. About 150 community members came by between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Visitors took guided tours of the station and participated in interactive demonstrations. They tried out the fire extinguisher simulator, explored the Kids Safety House, and used the 911 simulator. Guests also enjoyed the department’s famous firehouse hot dogs, provided by Chef Yeager, along with potato chips donated by Diffenbach’s and cold drinks.
The event also featured displays and participation from Spring Township Police, Western Berks EMS, Spring Township Parks and Recreation, Berks County Search and Rescue, Berks County Department of Emergency Services, and West Side Emergency Management, making it a true community partnership.
