Etna, N.Y. — October 25 — During a fire safety program, the Etna Volunteer Fire Department brought Pumper Engine 301 to the Casey School Head Start in Dryden. Firefighters encouraged families to organize fire drills together, showed off equipment, and talked to students about home safety. The visit was a component of the department's continuous initiative to improve community ties and encourage early fire safety education.
