Fort Ann, N.Y. — November 4 — Fort Ann Volunteer Fire Company held its regular weekly drill night, focusing on truck checks and testing portable equipment powered by secondary fuel sources. With colder months approaching, crews added winterizer and fuel additives to ensure all apparatus and tools remain reliable in low temperatures. The maintenance session highlighted the department’s ongoing commitment to readiness and equipment performance during winter operations.
After training, firefighters proudly escorted the Fort Ann Lady Cardinals home with a fire truck parade to celebrate their Section II Class D Title victory. The department expressed pride in supporting the community, recognizing that teamwork and spirit extend beyond emergency response.
