Argyle, N.Y. — October 17 — J.A. Barkley Hose Co. No. 1 (Argyle Fire/Rescue), 5072 State Route 40, hosted students from the Argyle Central School District for a Fire Prevention Week visit. Firefighters demonstrated safety practices, explained the tools and equipment used on the trucks, and added friendly competitions to keep the lessons engaging.

The event helped strengthen fire safety awareness among children while reinforcing the department’s commitment to community education and prevention outreach.
