Niagara Falls, N.Y. — November 3 — At approximately 1:40 p.m., the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station 914th Fire Department was requested to assist Niagara Active Fire Companies with a structure fire on Lockport Road. Engine 8 and Chief 2 responded as the second-due units.

Crews arrived to find a structure heavily involved with fire through the roof. Engine 8’s crew stretched a handline and deployed a blitz fire master stream, helping knock down the bulk of the fire before assisting with overhaul. Units operated for just over two hours before returning to base. No injuries were reported.
