Niagara Falls, N.Y. — October 13 — The Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station 914th Fire Department was requested for mutual aid to Bergholz at 10:40 p.m. for a commercial structure fire at Saint-Gobain, 6600 Walmore Road.

Engine 8 and Chief 2 arrived first due because of their close proximity and found smoke and fire showing from the compressor room. Crews stretched a handline and made a quick knockdown, containing the fire to the room of origin. Units cleared and were back in service shortly before midnight. No injuries were reported.
