Niagara Falls, N.Y. — October 25 — Niagara Falls Firefighters–Local 714 responded around 1:30 a.m. to a structure fire at the Swiss Cottage Inns, 6831 Niagara Falls Boulevard. Police officers arriving for an unrelated noise complaint discovered heavy fire and smoke and began evacuating residents and animals.

Fire crews arrived within minutes and worked for nearly three hours to bring the blaze under control. Flames spread through portions of the roof before the fire was fully contained. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation by fire investigators and Code Enforcement.
