Nashua Fire Rescue is warning residents about a phone scam involving individuals falsely claiming to represent an organization called the “Nashua Fire Department Auxiliary.” The department confirmed that no such organization exists.

Officials emphasized that Nashua Fire Rescue does not have an auxiliary or fundraising branch. The only legitimate organizations affiliated with the department are the Nashua Firemen’s Relief Association and Nashua Fire Fighters IAFF Local 789.

Residents are urged not to share personal or financial information with callers claiming to represent any other group. Any suspicious calls should be reported to the Nashua Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.

Nashua Fire Rescue thanks the community for remaining alert and helping to prevent fraud.
