Pownal Fire Promotes Safety and Fun at Trunk or Treat

Pownal, Vt. — October 25 — Pownal Fire Department members took part in the community “Trunk or Treat” event held Saturday at Faith Christian Church.
Apparatus ETA 1-5 and Rescue 1-8 were on display as six firefighters—dressed in festive, spooky gear—handed out candy to local children and families. The event offered a safe and fun way for the community to celebrate Halloween while meeting local first responders.
The department thanked Faith Christian Church for hosting and the families who stopped by to enjoy the evening.
