Manchester, Vt. — November 7 — On Friday, the Manchester Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm activation at a commercial business on Depot Street. The alarm was sounding and showing a red indicator when crews arrived.
The building was evacuated before entry. Engine 5 firefighters, equipped with gas meters and SCBA, conducted a full interior check and resolved the incident. After air readings confirmed safe levels, the business was cleared to reopen.
Northshire Rescue Squad was on scene providing standby support during operations.
