Mont Vernon, NH — November 5, 2025
The Mont Vernon Police Department, in partnership with the Mont Vernon Fire Department, will be hosting a Youth Driver Safety Class on Tuesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Mont Vernon Fire Department.
This educational session is designed for new drivers, soon-to-be drivers, and their parents, focusing on common traffic laws, safe driving practices, and the consequences of distracted or unsafe driving.
Officers report that they frequently encounter juvenile drivers who are unaware of restrictions, including limits on passengers under 25, late-night driving, and cellphone or Bluetooth device use while operating a vehicle. “One of the most common things we hear is, ‘I didn’t even know there was a law against that,’” the department shared.
The class aims to bridge that knowledge gap, helping families understand the laws and build confidence for young drivers. Previous attendees have praised the program for its engaging and informative approach.
To register, email Officer Reppucci at greppucci@montvernonnh.us. Attendance is open to everyone and not limited to Mont Vernon residents.
