On October 11, 2025, Merrimack Fire Rescue was notified by an off-duty department lieutenant of a fire alarm activation at a commercial property located at 6 Dobson Way.
Upon arrival, Engine 1 found the unit filled with smoke. Crews quickly investigated and determined the source to be a burned-out motor in a rooftop heating unit.
Firefighters ascended to the roof, disconnected electrical and gas service to the affected unit, and ventilated the building to remove smoke. The prompt actions of all responding personnel helped ensure the safety of nearby occupants and prevented further damage.
No injuries were reported.
