Ellington, Conn. — October 31 — Over the weekend, the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) hosted a joint training exercise with its Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class, giving students hands-on experience in managing trauma during mock vehicle accident scenarios. Reiterating the importance of community partnerships in emergency preparedness, the department thanked Bill's Auto for providing the vehicles and space that enabled the training.
