North Tonawanda, N.Y. — October 11 — The Adams Fire Company, along with St. Johnsburg Fire Company and Bergholz Volunteer Fire Department, visited a local elementary school this week to teach students about fire safety and prevention. Firefighters gave demonstrations, discussed emergency preparedness, and let students explore the fire trucks up close.

The program encouraged kids to stay calm in emergencies and understand the role of firefighters in protecting their community. The joint effort between the three departments highlighted the continued focus on education during Fire Prevention Month.
