It was another busy weekend for Merrimack Fire Rescue. Between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM on October 26, 2025, firefighters and EMS personnel responded to six emergency calls across town.
These included three medical aid requests of varying severity and a technical river recovery operation involving Engine 1, Truck 1, Ambulance 3, Boat 1, Forestry 1, and Utility 1, working alongside the Merrimack Police Department, NH State Police – Marine Patrol, and the NH Medical Examiner’s Office.
While units were engaged at the river, Engine 2 and Amherst Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire, and a hazardous condition call prompted mutual aid from AMR Nashua.
A sincere thank-you goes out to our on-duty crews and mutual aid partners for their hard work and professionalism throughout a challenging morning.
