At 4:49 pm, Limerick Fire Dept was dispatched for a building fire on Pruss Hill Rd. Tower 51, Engine 51, Squad 51and Fire Police 51. Mutual aid companies also responded including New Hanover, Sanatoga, and Pottstown. Crews arrived, investigated, and found a burnt sump pump in the basement. No injuries were reported. Units and apparatus were made available about an hour later.
