At 3:40 am on Wednesday, 11/5/25 the Bozrah Fire Department with Yantic Engines 31, 32, 33, Colchester Truck & Tanker 128, Salem Tanker 121, Gardner Lake Tanker 127 & Ambulance 527, Lebanon Tanker 106 and Montville Engine 12 with the Mohegan Tribal FAST were dispatched to 375 Fitchville Road for a house fire.

Ladder 126 arrived at 3:50 with a well involved single story wood frame residence, a 2 story, 2 bay detached garage, and a car in the driveway with a home on the Delta side being threatened. The crew lead off with a blitz fire in the front, while being nursed by their tanker. Engine 126 reverse laid to a hydrant on the western side of the incident and that supply line was supplemented with 5 inch hose from the Ladder.

Truck 128 set up on the Alpha/Delta corner and stretched an 1.75" hose line to protect the Delta exposure. Engine 33 set up in a driveway on Schwartz Road and pumped a 2.5" hose line in the rear. Truck 128 and Ladder 126 used their master streams to knock down the bulk of the fire. Companies also used two blitz fires, a 2.5" and two 1.75" lines. Engine 12 set up a tanker fill site at a hydrant on Haughton Road.

Bozrah Light & Power assisted with the power lines that were down in the driveway. The Bozrah Fire Marshal's Office is investigating with assistance from the Connecticut Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit. One male was located deceased in the residence.
