Bridgeport, Conn. — October 17 —The Shelton Exchange Club has named Lieutenant Ryan Hathaway of the Bridgeport Fire Department Firefighter of the Year. His continued volunteer work with Huntington Fire Company No. 3 and his support of the Shelton Fire Department Training Division, where he has helped create and support firefighter training programs, are recognized by the award. The recognition highlights Hathaway’s commitment to both operational service and firefighter development within the region.
