October 9, 2025 — In recognition of National Fire Prevention Month, a crew from the Verona Fire Department visited JD George Elementary School with Engine 2 to teach students about fire safety and prevention.
Firefighters discussed important steps children can take to reduce fire risks at home and school, emphasizing preparedness, awareness, and the importance of having a family escape plan.
