October 30, 2025 — The Yorkville Fire Department joined forces with members of the Whitesboro, New York Mills, and Maynard Fire Departments Thursday evening for the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat event hosted by Mastrovito Hyundai.
Organized with the help of the Retention and Recruitment Committee, firefighters from several departments came together to hand out candy, meet local families, and celebrate Halloween in a fun and community-focused setting.
Yorkville Fire expressed gratitude to Mastrovito Hyundai for once again hosting the event and to the Central NY Firefighters Association for attending and assisting.
In addition to departmental support, special thanks were given to Tony’s Pizzeria of Whitesboro and the Nicholas Morosco Memorial Fund for their generous contributions that helped make the event a success.
“This event is one of our favorites each year,” the department shared. “It’s a great way to connect with our neighbors and celebrate the spirit of community.”
