Dummerston, Vt. — October 31 — During the overnight hours, the Dummerston Fire Department was dispatched to a fully involved RV fire on Middle Road at 11:10 p.m. Captain Houle confirmed the report on arrival and noted a small brush fire extension. A request was made for a tanker, bringing mutual aid from the Putney Fire Department.

Crews extinguished the fire and completed overhaul. Approximately 2,000 feet of hose was repacked before the scene was turned over to Brattleboro Towing and Recovery and the Vermont State Police. No injuries were reported. Units returned to service at 2:21 a.m.
