Westerly, R.I. — October 26 —The Westerly Fire Department took part in the Regional History Fair hosted by the Westerly Historical Society, showcasing the department’s long-standing commitment to community service and preservation.
Volunteers presented an impressive collection of historic articles, photographs, and scrapbooks documenting the department’s evolution over the decades. The centerpiece of the display was the department’s fully restored 1927 Ahrens Fox Pumper — a hallmark of Westerly’s firefighting heritage and pride.
