                        Charlestown Richmond Firefighters Respond to Route 1 Accident

Charlestown, R.I. — November 2 — Just after noon, the Charlestown Richmond Fire Department (CRFD) responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 1 southbound, along with Cross’ Mills Fire Department, Charlestown Ambulance Rescue Service, and Charlestown Police Department.
First responders provided patient care on scene while one lane and the shoulder were temporarily closed to allow for operations. A flatbed tow truck was called to remove the damaged vehicle, and the roadway was fully reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
