Atlantic Beach, N.Y. — November 2 — Atlantic Beach Rescue responded to a solar panel fire on a home along Coronado Street in West Atlantic Beach. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from rooftop panels and quickly contained the incident with assistance from the Long Beach Fire Department.

Crews isolated power to the system and ensured the fire was fully extinguished without spreading to the structure. No injuries were reported, and the scene was cleared after the panels were safely de-energized.
