Lake Mishnock, R.I. — Oct. 23 — Lake Mishnock Fire/Rescue firefighters completed a live-fire training exercise at their station, using propane-fed props to create controlled flame scenarios. The training was designed to strengthen members’ fire-attack, suppression, and safety skills in a simulated environment.
Residents were notified in advance that visible flames and light smoke could be seen or the smell of propane detected in the area. Department officials confirmed that all safety measures were followed throughout the exercise.
