Fire at Woodstock Burger King

WOODSTOCK,VA-On Oct.25 around 7 p.m., tones sounded dispatching crews for a structure fire at the Woodstock Burger King.

Passersby had observed flames coming from the roof and exhaust system.

Wagon 12 and Truck 12 quickly responded.

Crews investigated the interior and roof and discovered that fire had been present in the exhaust system but had burned itself out.

No extensions were found.

The incident was then turned over to the Shenandoah County Fire Marshal for follow up.

Crews were on scene about an hour.

Nine Woodstock Fire Department volunteers answered the alarm and were assisted by units from Edinburg Fire, Toms Brook Fire, Woodstock Rescue, Conicville Fire, Woodstock PD and SCFR.
