Croghan, N.Y. — October 9, 2025 — Croghan Fire Department joined Beaver Falls Fire and Ambulance, Castorland Fire Company, and New Bremen Fire Department for a school-wide fire safety day at Beaver River Central School. The departments worked together to provide students with hands-on experiences designed to build awareness of fire safety and emergency response.

Throughout the day, students took part in activities such as spraying water from hoses, trying on turnout gear, watching a firefighter bailout demonstration, and learning how rope systems are used in rescues. They also toured an ambulance and explored Castorland’s ladder truck.
