New York, N.Y.—October 9— The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) held its first-ever EMS Certified Instructor Update Conference at the FDNY EMS Academy in Fort Totten. Nearly 200 instructors from across the department attended the inaugural event, which focused on enhancing instructional methods and integrating modern technology into EMS training.
The conference featured presentations from national vendors and manufacturers who showcased both current training tools and new technology designed to improve simulation-based learning. Attendees received hands-on exposure to evolving instructional equipment and discussed how these tools can better prepare EMTs and paramedics for real-world scenarios.
