Richmond responds to vacant house fire

RICHMOND,VA-Tones On Oct. 22, around 9:48 a.m., a call was dispatched for a structure fire in the 3100 block of Carolina Avenue.
Crews arrived on scene to find a two-story vacant house with heavy fire and smoke.
Firefighters launched an aggressive attack and the fire was marked under control at 10:19 a.m.
The Richmond Fire Investigators Unit are investigating the cause of the fire, which investigators say started in a pile of building materials inside the house.
Dominion Energy crews pulled the meter. A building inspector condemned the house.
The house was under renovation.
