Indiana Volunteer Firefighter Killed Batteling a House Fire

INDIANA - An Indiana firefighter has lost his life and another is hospitalized while battling a fire Wednesday morning, November 1, 2006.
Several fire departments responded to a house fire at a horse farm in Kent, Indiana, just west of Madison in Jefferson County.
33-year-old Greg Cloud was a volunteer firefighter from Kent. He had become trapped inside the home when the fire suddenly strengthened. Cloud leaves behind a wife but did not have children. Madison Township Fire Chief Robert Black sustained serious injuries requiring surgery and was hospitalized.
The Little King Farm is home to about 300 miniature horses and is one of the top breeders in the nation. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
