Hartford, N.Y.—October 8— Just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Granville Engine and Hose Company, along with Hartford Volunteer Fire Company and other mutual-aid partners, was dispatched to the St. Gobain facility for reports of a structure fire.
First-arriving units confirmed a working fire inside the plant’s incinerator. Crews quickly advanced lines and contained the flames before they could spread further into the building. The fire was brought under control within minutes.
