West Brookfield, Mass.—October 11— Firefighters from the West Brookfield Fire Department visited West Brookfield Elementary School this week to teach students about fire safety as part of Fire Prevention Week.
Crews spoke with classes about the importance of having a home escape plan, checking smoke alarms, and staying calm in emergencies. Each student was given a special “homework” assignment—to review fire safety steps with their families.
