14 October — Botsford, CT: Following the initial arrival of Newtown Hook & Ladder Company 1 (Hook & Ladder) on a car fire at a gas station at 21:19 on Tuesday, Botsford Fire Rescue was added as the second-due company. As part of the upgrade, Engines 551 and 552 responded. The fire was extinguished after Hook & Ladder Engine 111 arrived and stretched a hoseline.
