Barre, Mass. — October 20, 2025 — The Barre Fire Department, based at Station 1, 61 North School Street, conducted its monthly training drill Monday night with a focus on stretching and moving lines.
The department used the Oakham Fire Department’s burn building, giving firefighters valuable hands-on experience in a live-fire setting. The drill reinforced teamwork, communication, and hose management—key fundamentals of efficient fireground operations.
