One Injured After Car Strikes Trees in Town of Sanford

Deposit, N.Y. — October 17 — The Deposit Fire Department and Eastern Broome Emergency Services were called to a car accident in the Town of Sanford, New York, on Friday night. The driver was hurt when the car veered off the road on Shaver Hill Road and collided with several trees.

Ambulance 8423, Fly Car 8451, Engine 22, Rescue 22, and Midi-Pumper 22 were among the equipment sent to the scene. A second call for a potential brush fire in the Town of Deposit, New York, was received while crews were still working on this accident. When units arrived, they found that the fire was a controlled burn that was almost completely out. The second incident was handled by Engine 22, Pumper-Tanker 22, and Utility 22.
