Angelica, N.Y. — October 18 — A thorough vehicle-stabilization and extrication training session was conducted at the Angelica Fire and Rescue station Friday morning. In collaboration with the Belfast Fire Department, the exercise was led by Tony and Mike, representatives of Fire Rescue Products. During the drills, crews used the department’s newly upgraded Paratech Rescue Strut System and Rescue Airbags — equipment designed to stabilize vehicles and safely remove trapped occupants.
