Warren, CT - Members of the Warren Volunteer Fire Company recently carried out an extrication and rescue drill simulating a 13-year-old patient who had fallen off an ATV deep in the woods. Crews collaborated to clear a path for the UTV rescue vehicle, secure the patient, and safely transport them to awaiting EMS units.

These hands-on nighttime scenarios are designed to keep the team prepared for real-life emergencies—day or night, in any weather conditions.

Although “fire” is in their name, the Warren Volunteer Fire Company’s mission extends far beyond firefighting. Its members are trained rescue personnel dedicated to protecting their community and surrounding towns through continuous training and readiness.
