Swatara Fire-Rescue Continues Fire Prevention Month with Chambers Hill Elementary School

Harrisburg, Pa.—October 14— The Swatara Fire-Rescue, based at 599 Eisenhower Blvd., continued its Fire Prevention Month outreach this week with visits to two area schools.
Engine and Utility 91-5 stopped at Chambers Hill Elementary to open the evening with a fire-safety program for students. The following afternoon, crews visited PA Cyber Charter School, where Chief Gorenc spoke with students and parents about fire prevention and household preparedness before giving a tour of the department’s apparatus.
