Car Fire Quickly Extinguished at Route 1 and Route 522 Intersection

Around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, the Monmouth Junction Fire Department (MJFD) was dispatched to the intersection of Route 1 and Route 522 following reports of a vehicle emitting smoke. Upon arrival, Patrol units and Deputy Chief 210 discovered a passenger vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Crews from Engines 204 and 206 promptly responded and successfully extinguished the fire.
