September 29, 2025 - During this month’s joint training, crews from Boyertown and Eastern Berks Fire Departments collaborated to focus on rural water movement operations. Together, the teams established a water supply, filled tankers, and supplied an aerial device.

Firefighters had the opportunity to practice essential skills, including driving, pump operations, hose line deployment, and operating master streams.

These ongoing monthly joint trainings have continued to strengthen interdepartmental relationships and enhance emergency response capabilities, ensuring better service and protection for the communities they serve.
