October 02, 2025 - Brush, Utility, and Tanker 19, along with 19 Fire Police, assisted Boyertown Area Fire and Rescue in responding to a brush fire. Upon arrival, initial crews discovered a large pile burning, with the fire spreading to nearby grass and wooded areas. Additional manpower was requested from Earl Township and Eastern Berks fire departments.

Firefighters from all three departments worked together to quickly bring the blaze under control. All units were made available within an hour.

Residents are reminded to exercise caution with any outdoor burning, as conditions are becoming favorable for fire spread during the current season.
