Londonderry Firefighters Promote Safety During Fire Prevention Week Visits

Middletown, Pa. — October 16, 2025 — As part of National Fire Prevention Week, members of the Londonderry Fire Company, located at 2655 Foxianna Road, visited several community locations to teach children about fire safety and emergency preparedness.
Crews spent the week visiting Discovery Kids Child Care Center on Lauffer Road, Creative Home Educators’ Support Services (CHESS) at Grace Chapel, and the Londonderry Elementary School. Firefighters shared information on smoke alarms, home escape planning, and what to do when encountering fire or smoke.
