— October 18 — Fire crews from all of Gloucester County and regional emergency units responded to a boat fire at the Paulsboro Marine Terminal on Universal Drive shortly after noon. Sunday.

Paulsboro, Gibbstown, East Greenwich and West Deptford fire departments responded to the incident alongside other agencies. Companies from districts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 17, 18, 19, 21, and 22 were also selected. The task called for quick-response assets from districts eight and twenty-two, together with Gloucester County’s Tender, Foam, and Hazmat supplies.

The Gloucester County Hazardous Materials team, the countywide Foam Task Force, the Philadelphia Fire Department's fireboat resources, and the U.S. Coast Guard were specialized agencies involved. The Paulsboro Refinery Fire Department offered assistance, incident reports confirm.
