Deposit, NY - Firefighters and frontline apparatus from the Deposit Fire Department deployed to the Town of Windsor to provide mutual aid support at a working residential structure fire.
The mutual aid response occurred on Monday, October 12, 2026, as the Windsor Fire Department requested secondary apparatus and staffing to help combat an active house fire. In response, Deposit personnel dispatched Pumper-Tanker 22 and Squad 22-1 to the fireground.
Upon arrival, Deposit crews integrated with Windsor command to assist with fire attack, water supply operations, and scene support. The deployment of the pumper-tanker provided supplemental water hauling capacity to ensure continuous suppression lines while squad personnel assisted with fire suppression, ventilation, and interior operations.
Both departments operated in coordination to knock down the flames, secure the structure, and complete overhaul before Deposit units were released from the scene to return to quarters.
