Newberry, Pa — October 12: A working fire was reported in the 1100 block of Old Quaker Road early on Tuesday by the Newberry Township Fire Department. When crews arrived, they discovered a single-wide trailer with significant fire visible. They immediately extended several handlines to put out the fire. Within minutes, the majority of the fire was extinguished, limiting the original trailer's damage. On-scene support from assisting companies ensured a well-coordinated operation. It is thought that the fire started accidentally.
