GLASSBORO, N.J. — October 4 — Firefighters from Glassboro and nearby areas tackled a busy series of calls lately, featuring a working house fire in Mantua Township and two vehicle fires along State Highway Route 55.
Glassboro Fire Department Squad 26 was dispatched to a working house fire in Mantua Township, classified as District 22. The Mantua Township Fire District acts as the local fire agency, and Glassboro’s response was part of a mutual-aid effort. The summary missed some responding firms and omitted the specific assignments for each crew.
Squad 26 also handled two separate vehicle fires on Route 55. The October 4 department update did not detail where, when, or under what conditions the incidents occurred.
